Install Ez PC Remote on all computers you'd like to control in your network. |
|
Install the Ez PC Remote Administrator on a Parent or Administrator's
computer
(the one you want to control your network with). |
|
Install the Ez PC Remote Client on all children or employee computers
(the ones you want to control with Ez PC Remote Administrator). |
|
|
|
During the installation process you will be asked to select necessary components
(Administrator or Client). |
 |
If this is your children or your employee computer,
then select Ez PC Remote Client component and deselect Ez PC Administrator
If it is your computer or the one you'd like to use as your control
panel - install Ez PC Administrator. |
|
|
|
|
|
If you are using security software such as Norton, you might get
a "Program Alert" saying that Ez PC Remote Administrator "epra" or Ez PC Remote
Client "eprc" attempting to access the Internet.
Select "Allow always",
the program will not go to the internet, but needs to establish Administrator-Client
communication between Ez PC Remote components. |

When you run Ez PC Remote, you will see a small red alarm clock in the system notification
area. |
 |
|
Left click on the icon will raise information balloon. |
 |
|
The balloon will show registration information and the number of online clients
(Administrator's component) or timer status for the client. |
|
Right click will show popup menu: |

|
from there you can open main form, change password or exit the program. |
|
|
|
Open the main form (you will have to enter the program password to access the main
form): |

Administrator form on your computer |
Client form on a PC of your employee or child. |
|
|
You can create ON / OFF PC schedule (restrict computer time) for your employee or
children by selecting his/her computer from the "Online clients list" on Administrator
(your) computer or by accessing Ez PC Remote directly on computer of your child
or employee. |

|
You can select one of the three options: |
|
1. No day limit (set by default). This means that you allow to use PC any
time during selected day. |
 |
|
|
|
2. Set the allowed time for a PC. Set Start and End time or Duration. |
 |
|
|
|
3. You can also set Maximum allowed time (time accumulation) for a selected day. Regardless when the
PC was turned on and how many times during a day, system will calculate total time
the PC was on and will block the PC if it's exceeded the limit. |

|
|
You can choose one of the six action options |
 |
|
|
|
Customize Ez PC Remote look by selecting one of the built in skins
by pressing button (1) or can disable skins by pressing (2). |
 |
|
|
 |
Check Forbid view Task Manager to block Task Manager.
Forbid access to Task Manager to protect Ez PC Remote from being terminated
(unloaded from your system) by unauthorized user.
Uncheck Run on Windows start if you are not planning to run PC
timer on
a daily basis.
Remember you need to keep it checked if you want Ez PC Remote
to Auto shut down PC. |

Ez PC Remote automatically refreshes clients list as soon as new client detected,
however you can refresh clients list manually, by pressing "Discover Clients" button. |

|
|
|
Ez PC Remote allows you to copy schedule of selected Client to all other clients.
Press "Update all clients" button to copy selected Client's schedule for all Clients. |
